September 17th to 20th
With a late summer arriving in Norfolk we thought we’d take the chance for a weekend away. Not wanting to go too far we settled on a few nights in Theford Forest at the Dower House Touring Park. With the thought of having Kai stay a night with us we took the Triumph estate and Sprite 400.
Leaving home after Christina had been at work for the day, we arrived at the site around 5pm after a nice short 45 minute drive. Plenty of walking in the woods on the Friday along with a drive out to Fuel 45 cafe at Snetterton to check it out wether it would be a good spot for a future Triumph get-together (it wasn’t).
Saturday saw Chris and Gemma drop Kai off, after which the weekend got a tad busier! Great to have the okay equipment there and of course the woods for a bit of den building was brilliant.

Sunday saw the lad being picked up and us travelling home, arriving in time for lunch.
September 23rd to 27th

The next weekend looked like it was going to be just as nice, so thought it should be the turn of the Herald and Viking combo. This time we dated go a bit further, to a site just to the South of Norwich, the Norwich Camping and Caravanning Club site in Martineau Lane. This was close enough to take a walk into the centre of Norwich via an old railway track and returning along side the river. We was also had a good walk around Whitlingham Great Broad.

We spent Saturday by the caravan either a walk up to the local pub for a bite to eat. Sunday saw us walking to the Arminghall boot sale before setting off and getting hime for lunch again.
Will this be the last caravan outing of the year? The 400 has been put away in the assumption it is, but we might just leave the Viking out just in case…
